Cookie Policy
Nothing runs until you say so. Here is exactly what is stored and why.
This page says what this site stores in your browser, what puts it there and how to change your mind. It is kept accurate as the site changes.
Your choice comes first
Nothing that measures how you use the site runs until you accept it. When you first arrive, a banner asks you to accept or reject. Until you answer, and if you reject, no analytics load and no analytics data is sent.
Your answer is remembered so the banner does not return on every page. Clearing this site's data in your browser settings brings it back.
One thing sits outside that choice, and we would rather say so than leave you to find out. The sign-up form near the bottom of the home page belongs to another company and loads with the page, before you have answered. What it stores is listed below.

This site | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so the banner is not shown again. | Until you clear your browser data |

Google Analytics | Counts you as one visitor rather than one visit each time, so we can tell how many people come and which pages they read. Set only if you accept. | About thirteen months |

KickoffLabs, the sign-up form near the bottom of the home page | Recognises you if you come back to the sign-up form, and counts a visit as one visit. | The session one ends when you close the browser; the other after about thirteen months |

Meta, through us | Tells us whether an advert on Facebook or Instagram is what brought you here. Set only if you accept. | About three months |

Meta, through that same sign-up form | An advertising cookie belonging to Facebook. It arrives with the sign-up form, not from us: we do not use it, we see nothing from it, and no advertising of ours relies on it. | About three months |
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It is switched on only if you accept the banner: until you answer, and if you reject, Google sets no cookies here and receives nothing that identifies you.
What we look at is how many people came, which pages they read, how far down they got and roughly where in the world they were. We do not sell any of it, and Google's own advertising cookies are switched off in the settings we send it, whatever you choose.
Advertising
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and Meta's pixel tells us whether one of those adverts is what brought you here. It is what lets us stop paying for the ones that do not work. Like the analytics, it is set only if you accept, and it loads nothing at all if you decline.
Cookies set by other sites
Buying a ticket takes you to our ticketing partner's own site, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. The same applies to any social media link you follow from here.
Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser settings. The banner returns on your next visit and you can answer it differently.
